  • This position is funded by our Donor Match Remuneration Program.

    Location:

    Remote (USA or international)

    The Program:

This position assumes that you are a creative and innovative self-starter. You see yourself as an influencer which you can apply to passionately advocate and raise funds for mental health in South Africa and the United States.

You have the ability to create, design, plan and execute events and campaigns diligently.

We are looking for a fundraiser with a considerable network of people (family, friends, colleagues, connections) and companies. You will start out raising funds by approaching your direct circle of influence, like family, friends, and colleagues, on a donor match program (not to be confused with commission), starting with $25.00 per hour, which you first have to raise as an unpaid volunteer. For each $25.00 raised successfully (deposited into our account) you will be become eligible to be remunerated for one hours work in the same calendar month. This is how it works:

For each $25.00 you raise in a calendar month, you will receive an equal amount of $25.00 to pay towards your recorded hourly work done within that calendar month, through our start-up donor match program. The more funds you raise in the calendar month, the more hours worked in that month (only) will be remunerated at the end of that calendar month.

Donations earned through this donor match program cannot carry over to cover hours worked the next month.

Work hours performed within the month and not remunerated due to lack of achieved monthly fundraising goals set out above, thus not eligible for the Donor Match Remuneration Program, will lapse on the last day of each month.

Hours not remunerated at the end of each calendar month, will resort under non-remunerated volunteer work performed and cannot be claimed or applied retroactively.

Each first day of the month starts with zero hours worked and zero hours remunerated through the Donor Match Remuneration Program.

Your Donor Match Remuneration Program agreement will be reviewed monthly. If after (typically) three months, we both feel comfortable that you have the skills to fundraise, we will provide a path to move from a Part Paid/Part Volunteer position to a set salary structure. This work can be done remotely.

If you don’t have the skills to fundraise and work independently, please do not apply.
