We appreciate your interest in USA4RSA's Development Assistant position. The next steps towards joining our team are outlined in this letter.

1. To further narrow down the applications received, we have implemented the following instructions. This ensures we interview only those with the right skills and fit for this position. The following instructions should be followed carefully:

Instruction 1.1: Read the content on www.usa4rsa.org in its entirety: history, mission, campaigns, donation procedures, including how to donate and how to start a fundraiser. 

Instruction 1.2: Read the Job Summary carefully. You must feel comfortable that you meet most of the requirements which are laid out on our website and agree to the hours indicated (which may increase over time if both parties so agree), as well as the hourly wage offered. Follow the instructions listed on the Job Summary. 

2. Our selection process will involve testing your ability to set up Peer-to-Peer profiles for donors on our website as well as your fundraising skills to determine if you have the personality traits and confidence to approach potential donors for donations and/or enroll them in our Peer-to-Peer program. Therefore, we ask you to:

Instruction 2.1. Create a personal Peer-to-Peer profile on our website platform provided, composing your own compelling call to action.

Instruction 2.2. Recruit at least three donors on your profile (this may be a donation as little as $5 or more per donor). This process will help you gain an understanding of (among other things as per the Job Summary) the practicalities of the job. It will also give us a good indication in terms of your ability to set up and manage Peer-to-Peer fundraisers for donors.

After we have satisfactorily confirmed and verified the above four instructions, we will invite you for a final Zoom interview with a USA4RSA Team Member. We are looking forward to meeting you soon.
